With inspiration taken from the beats, Yoko Ono and the founder of sound poetry, Bernard Heidsieck. Layered voices, wordless vocalizations, sparse instrumentation--very spooky at times

Primarily based around various vocal/sound poetry collaborations between two couples, Klyd and Linda Watkins and Peter and Patricia Harleman (solo or multilayered voice with very sparse instrumentation effects), these LPs bridge the gap between private press "folkiness", Euro academic sound art, and desolate Jandek-like atmospheres. And strangely they managed to rope in Bernard Heidsieck, one of the founders of the sound poetry movement along with Henry Chopin and others, as well as the lesser known Françoise Janicot. Truly "heavy" sounds. Limited quantities.. "a record of oral poetry produced by Peter Harleman and Klyd Watkins.Primarly composed and performed independent of text. The majority of the poems are recorded at performances at colleges and coffee houses. 1977, Out Loud Productions, out loud records OLP 110 (The Harlemans; Klyd Watkins)"
