Producer Norman Whitfield
The Undisputed Truth was a 1970s Motown recording act, assembled by record producer Norman Whitfield as a means for being able to experiment with his psychedelic soul production techniques. Joe Harris served as main lead singer, with Billie Rae Calvin and Brenda Joyce, formerly of The Delicates, on additional leads and background vocals.

The Undisputed Truth - Smiling Faces Sometimes
"Smiling Faces Sometimes" is a soul song written by Norman Whitfield and Barrett Strong for the Motown label. The song was originally recorded by The Temptations in 1971. Producer Norman Whitfield had the song re-recorded by The Undisputed Truth the same year, resulting in a number-three Billboard Hot 100 position for the group. "Smiling Faces" was the only Top 40 single released by the Undisputed Truth, and was included on their debut album The Undisputed Truth
the guitarist is Mr. Kenji Brown and the band playing music is non other than Rose Royce. Rose Royce was the backing band for the undisputed truth on this concert and two of the undisputed truth mid seventies albums mainly, "Higher Than High" and "Method to the Madness". Great Music from great great band, the undisputed Truth and Rose Royce.
I'm fairly sure the guitarist is Eddie Hazel. It makes sense that he would conceal his face as he was know for doing concert and session work as an uncredited side-man.
Can you digg it!! That sista is BLOWIN!!! This song is so funky... no obscene words, or hi speed riffs, just laid back deep down soul...
