Rick Westwood replaced Graham Scott in 1962, from then they started releasing records. Brian Poole left the band in 1966. The Tremeloes are still touring to this day, however, Dave Munden is the only original member.. The Tremeloes - Silence Is Golden Yes, it is one of the greatest songs of all time. It picks me up every time I hear it. Great music and lyrics. One of the greatest bands ever Beautifully done with lovely harmony. This song always makes me think what if Roy Orbison and the Beach Boys ever got together(talk about a super group)! I bet the Tremeloes were fans of both (RIP Roy Dennis & Carl Tremeloes - Here Comes My Baby Live 1967 Superb live track. Well sung, well played. Great party fun song,
