Play the Game, Not Games is essentially a necessity for collectors only, as most of the material, in some form or another, appears on the U.S. Sticktoitiveness release.

It is worth tracking down for die-hard fans of the now-defunct Super Friendz, however, as the 10" features outtakes and radio versions of the songs appearing elsewhere, with "Rescue Us From Boredom" getting the most dramatic makeover, featuring a slower tempo and minor lyrical and vocal changes.

The EP also features two other songs that do not appear anywhere else, a cover of "Sorry" that transitions directly into "The Super Friendz Theme," which just gives diehards yet another reason to track down this Canadian power pop gem.
