When it comes to offbeat raw Detroit House music you cant really mess with Omar-S and his FXHE label.

it’s the follow-up to Strick’s well-received 2009 EP 7 Days, which found him establishing his own slant on the gritty, motor-oil-flecked deep house sound pretty much owned by Omar.

Strick acquits himself admirably, with the original versions of 'Old E 800' and the title track featuring crisp drums, repetitive organ riffs and on the latter track, a warbling acid bassline.
