Mixx it - Defunct Bay Area based DJ remix service started by Cameron Paul in the mid-80's. Well known for the short but higly remixed bridges (later called Cameron's Beats) between songs on some of the issues.
Released 78 single-vinyl issues (13 was skipped so last issue was 79) and 26 compilation CD's. A 3 CD "7th Anniversary" best of set was also released with some exclusive mixes. Mixx-It also spawned several spin-off services including Classixx Mixx (12 single vinyls and 5 compilation CD's) and Old School Mix (14 CD's)
Mixx-It was resurrected without the help of Cameron Paul after 2003 and sold cd-r's of most issues for a time thru the websites listed below. New remixes were planned but a release never surfaced.
