Another At-Home Production

A bit mellower than their Fantasy recordings, but with some nice jazzy soul moments that are very much in keeping with the group's rich vocal style. Production is by Augie Johnson, and it's still very much in the Wayne Henderson mode -- although the overall style is perhaps a bit fuller and slightly more romantic.
Has some ultimate tracks for mid tempo raregroove collectors including 'midnight lover' & 'i can't play'. Slicker sound than earlier LPs but still top quality. Rare too.
