Salt 'N' Pepa - Push It - Tramp Remix Label: Next Plateau Records Inc. / London Format: Vinyl, 12", 33 ⅓ RPM Record is VG+ with light scuff marks Country: Canada Issue Released: 1987 Genre: Hip Hop Style: RnB/Swing, Pop Rap Tracklisting: A1 Tramp (Remix) (3:29) A2 Tramp (Instrumental) (3:41) A3 Tramp (Acapella) (0:29) B1 Push It (4:09) B2 Push It (Instrumental) (4:09) B3 Idle Chatter (1:30) "Push It," one of the first rap songs to hit number one on the dance singles charts. Considering how little Salt-n-Pepa actually rap on "Push It," which is all about its instrumental hook, they maintain a surprisingly strong presence over most of Hot, Cool & Vicious. The single "Tramp" is a rap remake of the Otis & Carla soul classic Their debut single was "The Show Stoppa" (1985), the cheeky response to the hip-hop classic "The Show" by Doug E. Fresh and the Get Fresh Crew. The group was originally called Supernature (I have no clue why, since the ladies call themselves "Salt" and "Pepa" in "Show Stoppa"), but prior to the release of "Hot, Cool & Vicious," the name was changed (Thank God) and a new chapter in hip-hop history began. Salt n Pepa - Push it Best beat ever! You just keep humming the beat !! Salt n Pepa - Tramp
