Kc & The Sunshine Band - Get Down Tonight
One of the best...keeps my toes a tappin'
S.O.S. - Abba
Pete Townshend of the Who reckons this to be the best pop song of all time
Earth, Wind & Fire - Thats the way of the world
EWF: Musicianship, showmanship, Vocally INCREDIBLE, great songs, song STRUCTURE, chord progressions, and harmonies. It's presented in the form of Gospel, Jazz, R& B, FUNK & SOUL. Having said all of that, THERE IS NO debate that EWF is the Best band EVER! PERIOD!
FRANKIE VALLE - Swearin' To God - (Live) Midnight Special
Takes me back to when we had GREAT fun in the discos
I remember when this song was a huge hit in the New York market. Frankie Valli sounds just incredible in this performance from The Midnight Special television show!
Gladys Knight and the Pips Part Time Love
Hit #4 soul, #17 AC, #22 pop in Billboard
Barry Manilow - Could This Be Magic
wonderful! So beautiful! I was crying when I was listening this version now...One of the best love songs ever
DAVID GEDDES: RUN JOEY RUN (1972)
Sappy, yes. But I still like it! I remember that this song was released in 1975 and was one of the last of the 70's era 'Bubble Gum' songs. Seems like David Geddes was in a pop band before this single
Hot Chocolate - You Sexy Thing
Jigsaw - Sky High
Great song from the 1970's which was a fantastic era for music.
this was in a movie called The Man from Hong Kong, an Australian production from 1975.
I remember seeing it as a child and remember the opening sequence wit hang gliders over Sydney harbour with Sky High as the theme music
