Brooklyn’s TV On The Radio is one of the most consistent and boundary-pushing bands of the 2000s. Each of their four studio albums to date, including their 2011 effort, Nine Types of Light, garnered widespread critical acclaim for their experimentation with genres as wide-reaching as punk, electronic, jazz and soul.

Recording on NPR's World Café on May 27, 2011 this TV On The Radio session preceded the release of their fourth album Nine Types Of Light. Featuring three tracks from the ablum ("Caffeinated Consciousness", "Will Do" and "Repetition") as well as two old favorites "Red Dress" and "Province".
