This is Motorhead's third album Bomber which was released in 1979 the same year their second album Overkill was released. It's doesn't really have the speed of Iron Fist, Overkill, or Ace Of Spades, but it does have some of their most catchiest and I do MEAN catchiest songs ever written. Just listen to Sharpshooter, Lawman, Poison, and All The Aces for instance. There's also a song in which guitarist Eddie Clarke sings called Step Down, and it would be the only song he ever sang. Other great standouts include the title cut, and of course Stone Dead Forever which will really stay in your head for days. Overall Bomber is a great album from Lemmy and Co., and if you're a fan, get it now. MOTORHEAD RULES, LEMMY IS GOD!
Now here are the songs and how I grade them
1. Dead Men Tell No Tales: A+
2. Lawman: A+
3. Sweet Revenge: A
4. Sharpshooter: A+
5. Poison: A+
6. Stone Dead Forever: A+
7. All The Aces: A+
8. Step Down: A+ (Guitarist Eddie Clarke sings in this one)
9. Talking Head: A
10. Bomber: A+
Motorhead - Dead Men Tell No Tales - Live
but for me the best song of MOTORHEAD with the great EDDIE CLARK !!!
One of my favourite guitarists :)
Motorhead - Bomber
he referenced Stone Free by Jimi Hendrix in one of his speeches that's pretty damn awesome
ASK LEMMY. He hates when people call motorhead ''speed metal'' or metal in general. Of course, Motorhead was a big influence on thrash metal, and some punk bands
