I listened to other music too - other music that came and went while this stayed with me. "The Voice" is what introduced me to the album, but the songs that kept me listening over and over were never heard on the radio: "Meanwhile", the melancholy and aching yet uplifting and beautiful "Nervous", and Ray Thomas's brilliant trilogy, "Painted Smile", "Reflective Smile", and "Veteran Cosmic Rocker". Those songs have stood the test of time, because they're as fresh to me today as they were when I first heard them. The Moody Blues were at their best on this album, collaborating with the London Philharmonic Orchestra to bring richness to their sound that would be lacking in future albums. This is "Gemini Dream" by UK progressive rock band "The Moody Blues". Released in 1981 it was the first hit single from their UK & US number 1 album "Long Distance Voyager". The song was written by vocalist band members Justin Hayward & John Lodge.
