Ths is really cool...feels like it has more to do with early 70's blaxploitation sounds (given the lyrical content and it's driving funk) than the burgeoning disco movement for 1975.....thankfully!

The Modulations were great. I don't understand why they didn't go further.
They sound just as good as the Temptations and the Jackson 5 did in the 70's.

The Modulations song Rough out here from the album It's Rough Out Here. Released on Buddah in 1975.

The Modulations - I'l Always Love You

Great lyrics and excellent accompaniment . Arranged by Norman Harris with MFSB doing strings and such.
This is a great tune, as most tunes are from the album. Lead vocals by Larry (little Nick) Allen.

The Modulations - Those Were The Best Days Of My Life
( sampled by Nas - 2nd childhood (9th wonder remix)
