Bad Rapping Of The Marquis de Sade/The King Of Bad Cats Governor Slugwell "The Raven" The Train The Hip Einie Here’s a treat for anybody who’s into wordplay, humor and beatnik culture: Lord Buckley A Most Immaculately Hip Aristocrat LP featuring seminal 1956 "live" performances edited by Frank Zappa. For the unaware, Lord Buckley was a prophet, wildman, charlatan, charmer and lots more. He managed to combine the mannerisms of aristocracy with black street jive. He could combine an irreverance for authority, hedonism and degree of heresy with a powerful moral vision. He was a master of wordplay and you’ll be amazed at the way His Lordship strings together words and phrases to tell a story. He inspired hipster comedians including Lenny Bruce and Mort Sahl but today, he is mostly forgotten except for a loyal cult following.
