For a Hendrix compilation, this twelve track LP is really quite good.
Kept hearing on radio ads that this was an all-new Jimi Hendrix album. That's partially true - as there are 'completely new' previously unreleased tunes here.
The title cut "Valleys Of Neptune", his awesome well-played Cream cover "Sunshine For Your Love" and "Crying Blue Rain". Do keep in mind that are two rarely heard Hendrix songs here (that unless you have every one of his 'actual' lp's)
you might not be all that familiar with - "Ships Pass Through The Night" and "Lullaby For The Summer".
Plus, there are some {totally} different edits / versions of the late guitar great well known songs - "Stone Free", the timeless "Fire" and "Redhouse".
