If everybody who says they saw this concert live was actually there, thousands would have witnessed what is widely considered to be the holy grail of Hendrix concerts. In truth, just 400 people attended Hendrix's July 30, 1970, concert in Maui, recorded for the dismal 1972 film Rainbow Bridge so Hendrix could raise enough cash to complete building his famed NYC Electric Lady studios.
