Opening for acts like 'The Ike & Tina Turner Review' and featured on the 'Live at The Grooveyard' compilation album, CBC Vancouver's 60s show, 'Let's Go' and the rhythm & blues segment of the 'Rock Classic' filmed at Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom, The Epics' seminal 1968 R&B hit single, 'King Size' was one of Canada's most fully realized contributions to 60s R&B/Soul reaching the top 5 in the local charts and remaining in the top 10 for 20 weeks.

Today, with Christine Best & Jayson Hoover Jr, they are more powerful than ever, The Epics continue to deliver their own West Coast brand of authentic Rhythm & Blues.
