Ennio Morricone is a master of mood, and he uses instruments the way visual artists use brush strokes, dropping dollops of sound over blank canvases. The music's minimalism is remarkable...

Ennio Morricone Live The Good, the bad and the ugly

personally i love this composition and i dont know how many times i watch this movie ..
I prefer the version in the original soundtrack with the more offbeat sounds. The other sounds replaced by orchestral instruments ( included on the record)
