OU812 is the best, most diverse collection of VH tunes in the post-David Lee Roth era (although the mix isn't the best). "Cabo Wabo" finds Hagar surfing atop one of Eddie's better riffs. The song has one of the more memorable solo breaks the band has done. "Finish What Ya Started" is a classic. People who don't even like hard rock know this song and sing along when it's on the radio. "When Its Love" is a good, if predictable pop / rock anthem. "Feels So Good" is a bright, boyant pop tune with a scorching solo reminicent of "Unchained." "A.F.U." finds the band playing spontaneously in what sounds like a jam session. "Mine All Mine" is an unsung classic in VH's catalog that has resurfaced in concert several times since this tour. One of the few Van Hagar songs that finds Hagar writing thoughtfully and insightfully about spirituality. "Black n Blue" is classic VH rock and "Sucker in a 3 Piece" is a rocker with a "Panama" beat.

Van Halen - When It's Love

Van Halen is one of the most original bands, I love the fact that unlike Journey and INXS, when they changed lead singers, each had a different sound and were not carbon copies of the original singer. Sammy had a lovely, gritty and powerful vocal while Dave was more comedic and light....Either way both were fantastic

one of the best of rock ballad.....viva van halen..viva 80's rock

Van Halen - Feels So Good

I remember the first time I ever heard this....the keyboard was so hot...I said THIS has GOT to be Van Halen....and what a groove it is!!!!!!!!!!!

Van Halen - Finish What Ya Started

(live 1995)

Eddie's original guitar tone sounded much better than this one but this is still a good performance by the band.
