Al Green - Love And Happiness
One of the best Soul Train performances ever and it's live. RIP Don
I love how the female backing vocals don't come in right away and then they sing against the horns thus encapsulating all of the mixed emotions in this unhappy love song.
AL GREEN - SHA - LA - LA
The drummer is lovin it, A great example of how Soul Music brings joy -- particularly the song and Al Green performing it.
Al Green - L-O-V-E
"L-O-V-E (Love) was at the top spot on the R&B charts for two weeks and made it to thirteen on the pop singles chart. The single was produced by Willie Mitchell, who also co-wrote the song along with Al Green and Mabon Hodges.
