Album mixed and edited by Tom Moulton
"A Tom Moulton Mix"

Additional liner notes by Nick deKrechewo:

Because of the ever increasing demand by the disco audience, Scepter Records has prepared a unique collection of their disco favorites, with special vocal and instrumental mixes by Tom Moulton.
Never before available.
Thanks to Florence Greenberg, president of Scepter Records, for realizing the importance of the disco market. Even thought there were many obstacles in compiling some of the older material, Mrs. Greenberg put this album together. Because of Scepter's acceptance of the disco market long before any other record company, Scepter was awarded the Billboard Magazine "1974 Trendsetter Award" for being the innovator in special disco mixes.
The collection is here now, so get dancin'!!!
Nick - Downstairs Records, N.Y.C.

The back cover lists nearly 300 early disco DJs with the caption "Thanks, for without your help this album would not be possible". The list includes: Steve D'Acquisto, George Cucuzzella, Alfie Davison, Francis Grasso, Walter Gibbons, John Hedges, Richie Kaczor, Barry Lederer, Larry Levan, John Luongo, David Mancuso, David Rodriguez, Tom Saverese, Nicky Siano, Roy Thode and David Todd.

The inner gatefold sleeve also contains a list of over 200 clubs, primarily in New York but the list also includes clubs in 16 other states, plus Washington, D.C., Canada, Puerto Rico, Australia and French West Indies.

Super rare "Disco Gold" LP on Scepter Records. This record is mostly sought after for the Patti Jo cut "Ain't No Love Lost." The Ultra High Frequency "We're on the Right Track" was a great early disco track as well.

Patti Jo - Make Me Believe in You

Written and produced by Curtis Mayfield. I believe Patti was all of 16 years old when she cut this song.

Patti Jo - Ain't No Love Lost

Outstanding Curtis Mayfield-production from 1972 with beautiful epic string-arrangement and prominent percussion. Patti Jo was 16 years old when she came from Nashville to Chicago for this recording session.
Mayfield later re-recored it for his album "got to find a way".

Needing You - Clara Lewis 1975
