This is ground zero for big-beat/break-beat afficionados... You can't call yourself one without owning it. To paraphrase the Rolling Stone review, 'whether you enjoy the ecclecticism of the Chems or not, Exit Planet Dust will still cause more hedonism per square foot than any other LP for a long while

Leave Home contains a sample of Blake Baxter's "Brothers Gonna Work It Out."
One Too Many Mornings contains a sample of Swallow's "Peekaboo" and "Follow Me Down."
the chemical brothers are quite possibly the most important group of the 1990's. They have been pushing boundaries that other bands dare not to. Thing is, they manage to pull it off every time.
This, for me, is their best album. It has everything, wonderful downbeat tracks which are bliss ala "one too many mornings", to the straight up party anthems "chemical beats" (which you'll know from the Playstation game "Wipeout 2097").
This album is best enjoyed watching the sun go down at Cafe Mambo or somewhere like that. Its a special album this...
