Like the turmoil that surrounded Black Sabbath in 1978, the under-the-radar Budgie were also enduring turbulent times as the wild seventies rode toward it's final days. Budgie's Impeckable marked the end of the line for guitarist Tony Bourge, as the Welsh group delivered a streamlined set of songs, with only one track, album closer "Don't Dilute the Water", clocking-in at over five-minutes. Bourge went a more funky route on the nine song Impeckable LP, without compromising the heavy side. The '78 release opens strong with the heated action of "Melt the Ice Away". Self-produced and recorded in Canada, Impeckable includes "All at Sea", the lumbering "I'm a Faker Too", "Pyramids" and "Don't Go Away".
Excellent classic hard-rock album! Even though it was recorded in late 70-s when hard-rock was loosing it's popularity and many were talking about the death of a heavy "monsters". So... nothing like that happens. Now Budgie records sells like never before. Great album. True hard rock classic!

One of the most underrated bands of all time. In fact...I'm throwing in that they are the most underrated band ever.
