This track would have almost been lost in the shuffle if it would not have been caned so regularly by Diz that Fred Everything got the chance to hear it and the rest is history... "On the highway" is a collaboration between Brett Johnson and Dave Barker based on a first person recount of fictional car crash story that ends in the demise of the driver. On the Highway is based on a true story, Dave Barker who's on vox in the track, was in a terrible car crash that almost ended his life but lucky for us he's lived to sing about it. Brett & Dave turn on the heat with this very original deep emotional number featuring catchy vocoder vocals and laminar keys over a lectrofied groove. Fred Everything bounces things up in his signature boompty style but keeps the original vocal flavas intact. Lots of dope mixes including a few dj tools and the exclusive digital only Fred Everything Instrumental. Essential Lazy Days release.
