It features a direct to disk recording. This renowned audiophile record appears on Arthur Salvatore's High End Audio list as well as other audiophile lists. It consists of three movements: Side A 1. Allegro Assai Side B 2. Andante con moto 3. Allegro ma non troppo - Presto This mixes beautiful music with lovely, solid piano tone. A friend of mine tells me that she plays this piece just exactly the way Horowitz did, and that's probably a good thing. You will have a hard time finding a better recording of solo piano than this one. This is one of the all time great Direct to Disc recordings
