- 'On Stage In Japan'
Budokan, 1966. The Beatles performed for two nights at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo beginning 30 June 1966, with both concerts filmed in color for Japanese television. The first night's concert video was officially released by Apple in Japan only as Beatles Concert at Budokan 1966. Although one of the best concerts in terms of audio and video quality, The Beatles' performances were sluggish and sloppy. Excerpts were included in the The Beatles Anthology.
The Beatles - Live In Japan 1966
This was filmed in Japan at the end of June, 1966. Lennon did not meet Yoko Ono until November 1966, about 2 /12 months after the Beatles final tour of America.
