ARTHUR RUSSELL let´s go swimming 12" on Rough trade Original Here you have one of Arthur Russells finast efforts, his best for the dancefloor together with "Tell you today" in my opinion.

But nothing beats "World of echo" and "Another thought" So what have we hear then, a very very rare UK 12" on Rough trade that didn´t do well I tell you, I have only seen another Rough Trade original issue of this, seen the US issue more often. You get three different mixes "Coastal Dub" (7:50), "Gulf stream dub" (5:15) and "Puppy surf dub" (4:51)

. This was played at the Paradise Garage, on the balearic scene and is still loved by DJs and dancers still today, I must say I most enjoy it as home though. Beautiful music for both the head and the feets. I am happy that Arthur Russell today finally gets the recognision he deserves. He was truly a musical genius.

'I wonder how dance music of today would sound, without Arthur Russell's influences. This man was definitely ahead of his time.
